The Story
(Me)shach Jackson started performing at four years old, standing on a south Texas revival church stage barely tall enough to reach the microphone. He wrote his first song in a bunkbed to the factory beats of a Casio keyboard, became an ordained minister at 18, and left the pulpit at 21 to trade church stages for club stages — acoustic guitar, a bag of effects pedals, and the open road. For years he played solo shows across the country, crashing on couches, living out of his car, annoying every musician he met in New York with endless questions. He's been based in Austin long enough to know every room worth playing, and up to know good the entire time.
