When Nironic and Rob Banks arrived to Camano Island for a weekend visit--the first visit, ever, mind you, between Nironic and Maarius81 in person--Crystal Cobwebs was one of the first tracks they all recorded together. Rob had this beat mostly finished by the time they recorded the first draft in Maarius81's little a-frame cabin in the forest.
The song starts with a lyrical bang in the form of crisp Nironic verse where he dares dream that, "hopefully", he'll "walk on water soon". Maarius81 steps in with a haunting chorus and catalyzing verse, imploring the listener to seize the day and recognize the significance of time and destiny.
